Create a Campaign
Configure all required fields before uploading a call list.
What this covers
Create a campaign in an active accessible Application from /campaigns and assign required values before call-list upload.
When to use this
Use this after Application setup is complete.
Before you start
- At least one active Application is accessible to you.
- At least one campaign user can be assigned with role `Agent` (solo users can assign themselves).
Steps
- Open /campaigns and choose `New Campaign`.
- Select the Application first so provider phone numbers can load for that Application context.
- Select a provider phone number; if dropdown is empty, verify provider credentials/numbers in the Application and retry.
- Complete required fields: Name, Start Date, Campaign Type, and Ringing Timeout (seconds).
- Assign campaign users and ensure at least one assigned user role is `Agent` (optional `Supervisor` users can also be added).
- Click `Save` and continue directly to call-list upload.
Important fields and options
Application
Required and must be active + accessible.
Provider phone number
Required. Loaded from provider numbers/caller IDs available under the selected Application.
Start Date
Required. Enter local date/time shown by the form (rendered in your profile timezone).
Campaign Type
Required. Choose one available type label (for example Calls/SMS/Email when enabled).
Ringing Timeout (Seconds)
Required integer value in seconds (common starting point: 20–30).
Campaign users and roles
At least one assigned role must be `Agent`; `Supervisor` alone is not sufficient.
Validation and common errors
- Success message: "Campaign saved successfully. Now upload your call list."
- If the phone-number dropdown is empty, campaign save remains blocked until a number is selectable.
- If no Agent is assigned, validation fails and campaign cannot be created.
Notes
- Application users define who can be selected in campaign user assignment; add user to the Application first if missing.
- If date/time seems wrong, update your profile timezone before creating the campaign.
